College Credit Opportunities

Students in the Heights Career Tech Consortium have multiple opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school—saving time and money as they take the next step toward their future.

Through our partnerships with colleges and universities, students may earn credit in several ways:

  • College Credit Plus (CCP): Take college-level courses aligned to your CTE program and earn transcripted credit from partner institutions.
  • CTAG (Career-Technical Assurance Guides): Earn guaranteed college credit by successfully completing aligned coursework and assessments.
  • Articulation Agreements: Receive college credit at participating institutions after graduation by completing your CTE program and meeting established criteria.
  • Industry Credentials: Some programs offer credentials that may translate into college credit or advanced standing.

These opportunities provide a seamless transition from high school to college and career pathways, helping students get a head start on their postsecondary goals.
