Apr. 12, 2022 -- Heights High Senior Jachae Powers has been awarded a $1,500 scholarship to Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts as a result of her placement in their 2022 High School Virtual Culinary Scholarship Competition. Her winning dish featured grilled steak, roasted potatoes, and maple glazed carrots. The Auguste Escoffier High School Coordinator said, “We congratulate Jachae for taking the initiative to advance her education and future culinary career, and look forward to seeing more of her work as an Escoffier student.”
