Warrensville Heights High School/Tri-C

In this fast-paced and highly challenging program, you’ll learn about the science of firefighting, fire prevention, and the safety and hazards associated with fires. You’ll study the behavior, suppression, compartmentalization, and investigation of fire and its related emergencies, and all the associated training of an Emergency Medical Technician. Students will spend their senior year on the campus of Cuyahoga Community College Fire Academy earning college credit and the opportunity to become certified Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians.

  • 4 HASMAT and Dispatch Hours may transfer to any state school

Two-Year Program

  • Grade 11: Fundamentals of Fire and EMT
  • Grade 12: Join the Adult Fire and EMS Academy at Tri-C; Certifications in Professional Fire and EMT along with a scholarship for paramedic school through Tri-C
