Visual Design is an exciting opportunity for students to explore the nature of communication and more fully develop their creative talents. In this course of study, students plan, design and produce their own projects from concept to finished product.
In Visual Design, you will learn about layout, color theory, typography and the design thinking process to solve visual communication problems.
This course of study will:
• Give you the opportunity to get certified in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Give you the opportunity to learn real world design skills in a production environment
• Prepare you for an entry level career in a design production environment
• Prepare you to study visual communication design at the collegiate level
